Critical Design Review
June 24, 2020 We have been working in a project sponsored by BAE Systems and led by the MIT STAR lab for almost two years and we are happy to announce that we had our Critical Design Review (CDR) yesterday! We are very pleased to be working with BAE Systems, developers of the most successful satellite computer (RAD750), and MIT towards next-gen high-performance systems. We want to thank Lin Haas (BAE Systems) and Prof. Kerri Cahoy (MIT) for their leadership in the project. Also, special thanks to Francesca Scire-Scappuzzo, Susan Gonzalez, Michael McComas, Fang Liu, Ezinne Uzo-Okoro, and all other people at BAE Systems and MIT directly involved in the project or cheering for us in some other way.

One step closer
June 19, 2020 Novo Space has completed the design of its first general-purpose SpaceVPX backplane! The design supports cross-strapped redundant modules connected via tens of Gbps interfaces. This configuration can be leveraged for Avionics or Payload subsystems. It is fabrication time now; we will start testing the board in a few weeks. We are one step closer to achieving the dream of modular computers for high-performance 10 kg+ satellites! For more info, please visit our products page.
