Rodrigo Diez, CEO & Founder Rodrigo is a strategic thinker and visionary. He worked for 15 years on the design and implementation of multiple space, radar, and communication systems, and led several teams during his career. Rodrigo also earned an MS degree in Engineering and Management from MIT. Rodrigo's diverse experience in different fields and with different technologies is proving valuable when synthesizing new ideas for future products, brainstorming space applications with customers, and partnering with companies around the world to strengthen our value proposition. All this, while laying out a strategic vision for the company. |
Facundo Jorge, CTO & Founder Facundo is a space futurist and inventor. He has dedicated the last decade to innovating on all sizes of satellites, from fridge size low-earth orbit satellites based on commercial off–the-shelf (COTS) electronics to geosynchronous communications satellites needing the highest reliability and design life length. Facundo truly believes that standardization is the inevitable path forward for the space industry. Driving Novo Space’s technical vision and innovation strategy, his main goal as CTO is to build the company into a synonym of space avionics and solutions. |
Michelle Kort, Operations Officer As a US-Argentine dual citizen, Michelle worked in the international education world, helping connect people, institutions, and governmental entities across borders, leveraging all involved parties' interests, while supporting her stakeholders in achieving their goals. Her international background and experience are a key asset to the operations of the company. |
Pablo Slavkin, Lead Embedded Software Engineer Pablo brings more than 20 years of knowledge and skills in real-time and Linux-based embedded software. He joins Novo Space as our Lead Embedded Software Engineer focusing on the low-level software layers to fulfill our promise of easy-to-use hardware for space systems. |
Andrés Demski, Lead FPGA Engineer Andrés is our FPGA guru, contributing not only with his deep knowledge on modern devices but also with his expertise on the latest agile methodologies for embedded systems. Andrés joins Novo Space as our Lead FPGA Engineer, helping us further Novo's quest to bring the speed of commercial innovation to space. |
Prof. Kerri Cahoy, Advisor, Space Systems Dr. Cahoy is an associate professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT and leads the MIT Space Telecommunications, Astronomy, and Radiation (STAR) Lab. As a Novo Space advisor from the beginning, her ongoing support has been extremely valuable in guiding the company in its development. |
Mike Galluzzi, Advisor, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Mr. Galluzzi joined NASA in 2004 as the supply chain manager in the Space Shuttle Program Office. He is a recognized supply chain management and industrial base management subject matter expert, who has directly supported senior level management at NASA HQ Office of the Chief Engineer in Washington, DC. |
